"240" Written by Elmer H. Totsch
An excellent book to read regarding the 270th FABBA is a small edition written personally by Elmer H. Totsch. It is simply titled "240" which is the caliber of the Howitzer (240 mm) they the 270th FABBA utilized during their time in the European Campaign. Mr. Toysch was a member of the 270th FABBA from boot camp until he returned home from the war. Actual copies of this book are difficult to come by but I do have a complete PDF version that can be emailed to anyone who may be interested. I am Phillip Noble and Ray F. Noble who served with the 270th Field Artillery Battalion - Battery A during World War II is my Father. I have set up this blog to hopefully be used as a resource for anyone interested in this this particular group of men. Friends, family and any interested parties are welcome to comment or contribute to this blog.
