An excellent book to read regarding the 270th FABBA is a small edition written personally by Elmer H. Totsch. It is simply titled "240" which is the caliber of the Howitzer (240 mm) they the 270th FABBA utilized during their time in the European Campaign. Mr. Toysch was a member of the 270th FABBA from boot camp until he returned home from the war.
